The Happiest of Birthdays

Considering that I was blessed with another year on this earth, 48 years to be exact, this was the best birthday I could have ever had.

I didn’t take an expensive trip, I didn’t eat a lavish meal with my husband, I didn’t receive the latest technological gift. No, I spent it with both my parents, my brothers and their children. When I was asked my by husband and kids what I wanted for my birthday, my response was simple, “to spend the day with my family”.

What made it even more special is that my 3 kids were home too. This was the happiest and the best birthday ever!
